Experience: New to modelling

Rose had her first professional studio shoot with me, and it went very well. She was confident from the start, took direction quickly and brought her own presence to each frame.

We focused on key images for her model portfolio, moving from classic portraits to more contemporary fashion looks. She showed a good feel for posture and expression and was happy to try different moods.

Her parents came along as chaperones, which kept the day relaxed and let Rose focus on the shoot. She was attentive and open to trying new approaches. You can read more about her portfolio shoot in my blog post.

New to this side of the camera?

I have written a set of pages for models, covering the things nobody explains until you have already been caught out by them. None of it is a sales pitch and most of it applies whoever you shoot with.

What happens at a shoot

Start to finish, so nothing on the day is a surprise.
