Experience: Hobbyist model

Margita is a hobbyist model who brings a calm, composed presence to every shoot. She is fairly new to modelling but arrives well prepared, with her appearance and make-up carefully coordinated and ready for camera.

She listens carefully to direction and adds her own subtle touches, which often improve the image. Across our sessions she has been consistent and patient, and happy to explore styles from classic elegance to more creative portrait ideas.

Her natural poise and eagerness to learn make her a good collaborator in the studio, and her confidence grows with every shoot. You can read about her portfolio shoot in my blog post and see her StarNow profile.

New to this side of the camera?

I have written a set of pages for models, covering the things nobody explains until you have already been caught out by them. None of it is a sales pitch and most of it applies whoever you shoot with.

What happens at a shoot

Staying safe as a model
