Lauren Jennifer, also known as the Goth Cowgirl, and I have worked on numerous shoots together in the studio. Each session has been a unique and rewarding experience, as Lauren brings her multifaceted talents and creative energy to every project. Alongside her modelling, she is a highly skilled singer, seamlessly combining her passion for music with her work in front of the camera.
Lauren’s ability to embody different concepts and themes is remarkable. Whether she is posing for portfolio images or creating visuals to promote her music, her professionalism and creative flair shine through. Her distinctive style, paired with her willingness to explore bold ideas, makes her a joy to work with. She has a natural aptitude for conceptual shoots, often contributing ideas that elevate the final results.
Our collaborations are always enjoyable, striking the perfect balance between productivity and fun. Working with someone who approaches each session with enthusiasm and focus is a privilege. Looking ahead, we plan to embark on more thematic projects, pushing creative boundaries and developing striking imagery that reflects Lauren’s unique persona and artistic vision.
Lauren’s ability to merge her talents as a singer and model is truly inspiring. She has an incredible presence, both in the studio and in her music, and I am excited about the future projects we have planned. Collaborating with Lauren is always a rewarding experience, and I look forward to seeing where her journey takes her next.
New to this side of the camera?
I have written a set of pages for models, covering the things nobody explains until you have already been caught out by them. None of it is a sales pitch and most of it applies whoever you shoot with.
What happens at a shoot
Start to finish, so nothing on the day is a surprise.
Staying safe as a model
Checking a photographer, chaperones, and what you are entitled to ask.
Shoot types explained
What implied, editorial, commercial and the rest actually mean.
