Anastasia

Anastasia is a hobbyist model based in Diss, Norfolk, originally from Ukraine. We first connected through a shared appreciation of photography—she’s actually a professional wedding photographer herself, which made this shoot particularly interesting from both sides of the lens.
Although new to modelling, Anastasia brought a natural curiosity and calm presence to the studio. Her background in photography gave her a thoughtful awareness of angles, light, and storytelling, which translated into a quiet confidence in front of the camera. It’s always fascinating to work with someone used to directing shoots from behind the scenes and watch how they interpret the experience as a subject instead.
Anastasia was easy to work with, open to ideas, and very comfortable experimenting with different moods and looks. We kept the session relaxed, aiming to explore what felt authentic to her while still capturing a sense of poise and personal expression. For someone just starting out, she adapted to the environment remarkably well and embraced the creative process without hesitation.
I look forward to seeing how her modelling journey develops alongside her photographic career. There’s something grounded and honest about her approach, and it was a pleasure to help her step into a new role, even if only for a short while.
